Views and maps of Naples and the surrounding area. The volume was issued by Filippo's Neapolitan printshop ca. 1780, and the plates date between 1765 and 1779, with many engraved by Filippo and Raphael Morghen. The album begins with portraits of King Ferdinand I and Queen Maria Carolina and continues with: 2 maps of Naples; an illustration of an agate cup; maps and views of Vesuvius and Herculaneum; views of Paestum by Antonio Jolli; views of Pozzuoli, Baia, and Cumae; 30 views of Naples on 15 sheets by Antonio Cardon; 4 fold-out panoramic views of Naples, including Chiaia and Ponte Nuova, engraved by Antonio Cardon after Gabriele Ricciardelli; and 2 fold-out and 2 double-page maps of Naples by Filippo Morghen dated 1772.
